Operation Purple Camp — Register for a free, four week summer camp program developed by the National Military Family Association to provide support for military youth dealing with the stresses of war, by April 16. Healthy Kids Day — The YMCA Healthy Kids Day, the nation’s largest health day for kids and families, is April 17, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Bishop Museum. The day is filled with fun, engaging and creative activities that foster healthy living including an obstacle course; demonstrations in zumba, hula, jazz, hip hop; healthy cooking; Keiki ID; car seat safety; health screenings; nutrition information; and CPR. Admission is free for kamaaina and military families.
