HONOLULU — Due to expansion of Tripler Army Medical Center's Emergency Department waiting room, the patient entrance will be relocated through the ambulance entrance doors, beginning May 2. Signs will be posted to guide patients into the registration and waiting areas. The Emergency Department parking lot is being converted to official vehicles only, and a new patient drop-off area has been created with five stalls that will allow for patient drop-off. There is a 10-minute time limit on the use of these stalls. Patients in need of assistance entering the Emergency Department should call 433-3703. Access to the Internal Medicine Clinic will not be affected, and patient access will be via drop-off or though the Mountainside entrance. Construction is projected to be completed in June.
