New Hours — Starting July 17, Outdoor Recreation at Schofield Barracks is expanding its Sunday hours to 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Starting July 18, ODR will be closed every Monday. Call 655-8522.

SFAC Spouses Group — This spouses group will meet 5:30-8 p.m., July 19, at the Soldier and Family Assistance Center, Bldg. 692, Schofield Barracks. Additionally, a small business seminar will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m., July 26.

EFMP Support Group — This support group is for Exceptional Family Member Program families so they can share experiences, gather new information and become more knowledgeable about community resources. Walk off the Wait — The Blue Star Card holders Hawaii Loa Ridge hike is July 19. Transportation is available; space is limited. Hobbies and Crafts Database — Learn about the Hobbies and Crafts Database, 2-4 p.m., July 19, Sgt. Yano Library, Schofield Barracks. This database has numerous projects, books, and videos to help you feed your creative side. Register at 655-8002 or send a message at Hawaii Army Libraries on Facebook. Laptops are suggested, but not necessary.

Open Mic Night — Save the date and show off your talent and enjoy an evening of food and drink specials, July 19. Open Mic Nights are held every first and third Tuesday of the month at Tropics Recreation Center, Schofield Barracks. Call 655-5698.

Hot Monogamy — This new workshop is 1-2:30 p.m., July 20, Army Community Service, Schofield Barracks, and will help couples bring passion back to their marriage. While couples don’t have to attend together, couples are encouraged. Call 655-4227.

Federal Resume Writing Seminar – This event, 9-10 a.m., July 21 and 22, Army Community Service, Schofield Barracks, will show how to tailor a resume for a federal job, gain helpful tips on job searching in the federal sector and prepare for an interview. Call 655-4227.

Make a Video — Blue Star Card holders can learn how to use Animoto to make a professional quality video for their Soldier or loved ones, 10 a.m., July 21, Sgt. Yano Library, Schofield Barracks. Kids Bowl Free — Through July 29, the Fort Shafter and Schofield Barracks bowling centers are participating in a Kids Bowl Free program as a low-cost activity for children up to age 15. Parents must sign their children up at www.kidsbowlfree.com/BowlArmyHI and will then receive weekly coupons via email for two free games per child.
