HONOLULU — Tripler Army Medical Center kicks off the holiday season, Nov. 29, with its 62nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, here, Nov. 29. Multiple strings of lights were hung on the front of the hospital to give the appearance of a giant holiday tree. Including the massive star at the top, the tree of lights stands about 140-feet tall and can be seen for miles. Schofield Barracks will host its annual tree lighting ceremony, 5:30, Dec. 6, at General's Loop. Fort Shafter's tree lighting is 5:30 p.m., Dec. 8, at Palm Circle.
