Cadet Sheridan — There will be a complete road closure on Cadet Sheridan Road for utility installation, weekdays, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., from the north side of Elou Street to the south side of Trimble Road. A portion of the Trimble right turn lane onto southbound Cadet Sheridan will also be closed. The work will be performed until Oct. 2.

Only one road closure will be done at a time in the Trimble and Cadet Sheridan intersection. Trimble will not be closed while Cadet Sheridan is closed and vice versa.

Airdrome Road — There will be a partial lane closure to allow for utility installation at the intersection of Wheeler’s Sterling and Airdrome roads.

Airdrome Road will be converted from a two-way road to a one-lane contra-flow around the construction area, consisting of two phases. The first phase, beginning today, will be performed to Oct. 21, tentatively. Phase 2 will be Oct. 21-31.

The work hours for both phases will be weekdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (work on weekends only if necessary).

Signal Drain — The traffic flow at Signal Street that began yesterday continues through Oct. 8 for storm drain line replacement.

Intermittent traffic modification is required to allow for the chlorination of the new water main line, followed by the tie-in of the new water main line to the existing line at the intersection of Bennet Drive and Pierce Street.

The preparatory work prior to the chlorination and tie-in begins after the entire length of the water main line for Phase 2 is installed.

Phase 2 has encountered delays attributed to various differing site conditions. Final tie-in and asphalt paving is anticipated later this month.
