Employment Orientation — Learn about military benefits and entitlements, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., how to decipher Army acronyms, understand the Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), utilize community resources, improve financial readiness skills, and understand the goal and the impact of the Army mission on daily life at SB ACS. BOSS Meetings — Hooah! Single Soldiers and geographic bachelors are highly encouraged to attend BOSS meetings every Wednesday of the month to discuss community service projects and fun upcoming programs. Get involved and make a difference.
• North meetings are held at SB Tropics, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, at 3 p.m.
• South meetings are held at the FS Bowling Center, every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, at 10 a.m.

Mum is for Moms — FS Library invites teens, 2-4 p.m., to make a paper bouquet for Mother’s Day. All supplies will be available, including a ceramic vase. Preregistration is required. Call 438-9521.

Community Information Expo — The weekly event is held 9 a.m.-noon, at the SB Nehelani. Learn about Army community resources from service agency representatives at this weekly interactive orientation without briefings. Call ACS at 655-4227.

Boy’s Day — SB Sgt. Yano Library helps you make a paper koi fish kite, 4-5 p.m. Supplies and a special surprise will be provided. This program is designed for school-age children and older. Preregistration is required. Call 655-8002.

Military Spouse Appreciation Day — We give thanks to all service spouses for their sacrifices and support on behalf of our military members.

Command Scramble Golf — Monthly event cost is $50/per player, and price includes green/cart fee, free driving range balls, door prizes, flight prizes, pupus and two Mulligans per player. Contact Leilehua Golf Course at 655-4653 to register.
Registration will also be held on the day of the event, unless the event is already sold out.
Upcoming scramble dates are May 6 and June 3 at Leilehua Golf Course, 199 Leilehua Road, Wahiawa.

Intro Mountain Biking — Outdoor Recreation will help expand your biking abilities on this beginner mountain biking adventure to Kaena Point. You may even get a chance to spot some seals, turtles, whales or the spectacular Laysan albatross.
Bring water, a snack and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
All transportation (up to 12 people), instruction and equipment are provided. Happens 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at a cost of $20/person. Call 655-0143.

Parents Night Out — Enjoy a night out, knowing your child/children are safe. Runs 6-11 p.m. You can drop your children off at AMR Child Development Center, Bldg. 1783, and AMR School Age Center, Bldg. 1472.
Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the Parent Central Services Office at AMR, 833-5393 or SB, 655-5314.
To enroll in Parents Night Out, children must be registered with CYS Services no later than May 4th.

Tropics — The new SB Tropics Recreation Center is now open after an extensive renovation. The high-energy recreation facility offers gaming, state-of-the-art entertainment, food and beverages. Hours follow:
• Thursdays, 4-10 p.m.
• Fridays-Saturdays, 4 p.m.-midnight.
• Sundays, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays closed.
