TRICARE team conducts site visits in Hawaii

HONOLULU —From June 23-28, the Defense Health Agency’s TRICARE online patient portal (TOL PP) project team conducted Military Treatment Facility (MTF) site visits to Hawaii Enhanced Multi-Service Markets (eMSM) at Naval Branch Health Clinic at Makalapa, Naval Branch Health Clinic at Kaneohe Bay, Schofield Barracks Health Clinic, Tripler Army Medical Center, and Hickam Air Force Base Health Clinic.

The site visits were conducted to inform patients and staff of upgraded TOL PP features.

As part of continued improvement around patient engagement tools, TOL PP mobile access is now available for beneficiaries. Patients now have the ability to make and manage their MTF appointments on any sized mobile device from tablets down to handheld smartphones.

The prescription refill capability will be available for patients in late July and access to Blue Button, or personal health data, shortly after. Patients can continue to access Prescription Refill, Blue Button, Service Separation, Secure Messaging, and Nurse Advice Line capabilities through their desktops.

To access TOL PP mobile go to www.tricareonline.com through a mobile web browser. To add themobile icon to your phone’s home screen bookmark the mobile site and tap “Add to Home Screen.”

TOL PP mobile is accessible with a DoD Self-Service (DS) Logon Premium account, or Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) myPay account. To create a DS Logon or upgrade to a Premium account, go to https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/identitymanagement/.
