Soldiers from companies A and C, 307th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, are deployed to Guam to conduct a relief in place of Soldiers from Co. B, 307th ESB.
About a dozen Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 311th Signal Command (Theater), brought their equipment for static display and interacted with students during Fern Elementary School’s annual Drug Free Schools/Jump Rope for the Heart Field Day in Honolulu, Feb. 12.
At a potluck dinner and Family Readiness Group meeting, here, Jan. 21, 307th Expeditionary Signal Battalion members welcomed new Soldiers, enjoyed camaraderie and provided support to one another, as they had during Alpha Company’s recent nine-month deployment.
“As our nation’s defense focus shifts to the Pacific, it will be the 311th that will provide the example of communications readiness for the rest of the Army,” said Maj. Gen. LaWarren Patterson, commander, Signal Center of Excellence.
“Every little bit helps,” Gardner said. “We so appreciate the food your Soldiers and families gave for our Thanksgiving meal.”
The exercise provided opportunities to build capacity between the fiscal triad of contracting, resource management and legal personnel through training, team-building and collaborative problem solving.
