President Barack Obama announced that he will award the Medal of Honor to 24 veterans during a March 18 ceremony at the White House.
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command recognized two Department of the Army civil service employees for their combined 103 years of service with the military.
“I believe that King had a huge impact upon this century,” said Revell. “I would say that probably King was one of the greatest leaders in a very complex and controversial movement during the 1960s that lifted people’s hopes in terms of dignity that God has for all of us.”
