‘Wayfinder’ medics conduct MEDEVAC training on Black Hawk
Combat medics, led by a flight medic, rushed to a UH-60 Black Hawk carrying a litter to medically evacuate a Soldier, at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Jan. 10.
However, the Soldier wrapped up on the litter was only a simulated casualty for the combat medics assigned to the 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion, “Wayfinders,” 3rd Bde. Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.

Recovery, salvage ops conclude for Black Hawk crash
All active operations to locate aircrew members’ remains and retrieve wreckage from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that crashed off the island of Oahu, Aug. 15, have ended.
Officials from the 25th Infantry Division ended the monthlong recovery and salvage operation after they determined it was unlikely additional aircrew remains would be found. Additionally, investigators determined enough physical and visual evidence had been collected to allow a thorough investigation into the crash.
