The current 523rd Engineer Company boasts over 100, high skilled engineers. Who were hand selected for their talent and experience. However the company also features supply soldiers as well as engineers.

They were deployed to South Korea in 2016:

In 2016, the 523rd Engineer Company were deployed to South Korea, in order to replace the 95th Engineering Company which had been stationed in South Korea. As part of a defence agreement between South Korea and the United States as well as ongoing presidential agreements between both nations.

The deployment of the 523rd Engineer Company was part of the US military’s rotation system. Which ensures that each company, will be stationed in different regions over time.

The engineers who were deployed to South Korea in 2016 included horizontal construction engineers, technical engineers, signal engineers and mechanical engineers.

Over the years the 523rd Engineer Company is deployed to a wide variety of countries:

Over the years the 523rd Engineer Company has been deployed to a wide variety of countries, whom the US has defence agreements with. As an example, the company has spent a lot of time operating in Vietnam. In general, the company spends much of its time serving in Asia and the South Pacific. Which makes sense as the company is based out of Hawaii, which is located close to both regions.

It’s mascot is a bulldog:
