If you’re unfamiliar of the military acronym USARHAW, it stands for the United States Army Hawaii. All military personal who are stationed at a US Army base in Hawaii are required to abide by USARHAW regulations. Which may differ to some of the regulations set by the US Army in other US states.

The largest most important army base in Hawaii is Schofield Barracks:

The largest and most influential army base in Hawaii is Schofield Barracks, which is located in central Oahu and is a short drive away from Oahu’s most populous cities Honolulu. Currently over 16,000 individuals live in Schofield Barracks which is adjacent to the town of Wahiawa. Due to its size Schofield Barracks essentially is its own city and features its own shops, restaurants and movie theater.

Schofield Barracks was originally established to help protect Pearl Harbor:

Schofield Barracks was originally built in order to help protect Pearl Harbor. Which is a US military base which is shared equally by the US Navy and the US Air Force. Unfortunately despite Schofield Barracks being built in order to safeguard Pearl Harbor, it was extensively damaged and thousands of seamen lost their lives in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor during WWII.

Schofield Barracks garrison is the 25th Infantry Division:

Schofield Barracks is the home of the 25th Infantry Division. Which was founded in Hawaii in 1941. The 25th Infantry Division took part in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, World War II, the Iraq War on Terrorism and the Afghanistan War on Terrorism. In order to honor the fallen of the 25th Infantry Division several memorial statues were erected in Schofield Barracks.

The USARHAW’s primary goals is to safeguard American interests in the South Pacific and Asia:

One of the USARHAW’s primary goals is to safeguard American interests in the South Pacific and Asia. Although one of their secondary goals is to protect allied nations from getting into dangerous disputes which may lead to war.
