The center’s primary focus is to offer soldiers a wide variety of risk prevention tools and training programs, which will provide soldiers with valuable information on staying safe. The center also aims to educate soldiers on how they can prevent their fellow soldiers such as their combat buddies, from getting unnecessarily injured.
It identifies risky actions:
The staff at the US Army Combat Readiness Safety Center’s staff members also focus on identifying risky behaviors. In order to advise the soldiers which they teach about how to avoid particularly dangerous actions. Such as drinking and driving and driving exhausted.
Another example of a risky action which the center educates soldiers about is riding a motorcycle. For this reason the center recommends that soldiers who enjoy riding motorcycles take motorcycle specific safety courses. So that they’ll be able to greatly minimise their risk of being involved in an avoidable accident. As unfortunately, the statistics of the likelihood of being injured riding a motorcycle are far worse than the statistics of being involved in a car crash.
