It’s based in Hawaii:

The 8th tsc’s home base in Fort Shafter. Which is located in Hawaii. Fort Shafter, happens to be the oldest military base on the Hawaiian island of Oahu and was originally founded in 1907. Fort Shafter is named after Major General William Rufus Shafter. Who led the United States’ first expedition to the island of Cuba, in 1898.

The current commander of the Fort Shafter where the 8th tsc is based is General Paul J. LaCamera:

The current commander of the 8th Theatre Sustainment Command is General Paul J. LaCamera. While the former commander of the 8th tsc was General Vicent Brooks.

The current commander of the 8th tsc is Major General Charles Hamilton:

The current leader of the 8th Theatre Sustainment Command is Major General Charles Hamilton.

It has an inspiring motto:

The official motto of the 8th Theatre Sustainment Command is “Sustain the Force!”. You can find the command’s inspiring motto on the its distinctive insignia. So it’s well worth taking a look at the command’s insignia to see it’s inspiring command.

It is the senior military logistics command in the United State’s Pacific Command Area:

The 8th tsc is currently the most senior US Army logistic command in the United State’s Pacific Command Area.

It’s primary mission is to protect the United State’s interests in the Pacific:

One of the 8th Theatre Sustainment Command’s primary goals is to protect the United State’s interests and positions in the Pacific. Secondly, the 8th tsc is also concerned with maintaining peace in the Pacific for all of the United State’s allies and dependancies in the Pacific.

It features a military police brigade and an engineer brigade:

A military police brigade and an engineer brigade are both associated with the 8th tsc. Futhermore, the command also features diving assets and logistics support vehicles.
